Nothing is separate.

The entire universe, including you and I, are in reality pure energy.

It is through our thoughts that we transform this energy into what we perceive to be reality. Our thoughts create the world we live in. The shift is we have always thought the outer world is more real than the inner world. But the opposite is true. It is what is happening inside us that determines what is going to happen outside us. We create our world with our thoughts.

Here is what is amazing. Scientists have done experiments to prove this fact. The most infamous is the double slit experiment. I am not going to go into a lot of detail about the experiment, the basics and the results are sufficient for us.

We place a board with two slits on a table. We are going to start shooting electrons (picture very tiny marbles) through the slits. We place another board behind the first to determine where the electrons end up. Obviously the electrons are going to line up with the slits on the first board because the slits were the only way they could get through to the second board.

Now let’s take the board with two slits and this time shine a beam of light through the two slits. This time instead of getting the two lines on the second board that line up with the two slits we get what is called a wave interference pattern. This looks like alternating light and dark stripes going all the way across the board.

Don’t worry if you don’t quite see the whole picture. It takes a while to grasp. The only thing you need to understand is what I am about to tell you.

Here is where it gets weird.

Scientists would shoot the electrons through the slits and as long as they watched the experiment everything went as normal. But if they left the room things began to change.

When scientists would leave the room and come back they would no longer find the electrons lining up with the slits, but they would see the interference pattern given when a beam of light was shined through the slits. But now that they were back to watching the experiment it would go back to the pattern of the two slits of electrons being fired through the slits.

When the experiment was being observed the electrons behaved as touchable, physical matter (such as a marble). When the experiment wasn’t being observed the electrons behaved as energy (waves of light).

How could this be? Was the result of this experiment really being determined by whether or not someone was observing the experiment?

The scientists decided to get tricky and video the experiment to determine what was going on when they left the room.

When they came back they got the physical matter pattern consistent with being observed. It was as if something knew the video camera was observing the experiment and would allow the scientists to observe it at some time in the future.

Again when the scientists took the video camera away and didn’t observe the experiment they would come back to find a wave pattern appeared once more.

What does it all mean?

Matter is not matter unless it is observed. Everything is pure energy. It takes consciousness, our minds, to transform this energy into matter, into reality.

The elementary particles such as electrons that make up everything in our universe are nothing but pure energy unless they are observed by our conscious mind.

It is our thoughts and feelings and beliefs that determine how these elementary particles manifest into reality. We literally create our world with our mind.
