Metaphysics is defined as a branch of Philosophy which deals with First Cause and the Nature of Being and taught as a branch of philosophy in most academic universities today. The word originated from two Greek words Meta meaning beyond or after, and Physika meaning beyond the physical. Now a days termed beyond the 3rd dimensional existence.
As a Dr. of Metaphysics (M.s.D.), I concede that metaphysics is the place where modern science and spirituality find common ground. It is an all encompassing philosophy that explores the ultimate nature consciousness and the principles by which consciousness to form, or in very simple terms, how thoughts become things.
As a M.s.D. in today's world I utilize all my fields of expertise and for that reason have effectively became a confidant and specialized my abilities to a now global community. My work in metaphysics shares extreme success in utilizing any one or the combinations of all of the following modalities:
Philosophy, World Religion, Parapsychology, Mysticism, Trance, E.S.P., Dream Analysis, Jungian Psychology, Astrology, Master Numerologist, Meditation, Self Help Sessions and Studies, High Magick Practitioner, Angel Work, Demonology, Positive Thinking Projection, Workings of the Kabbalah and Quantum Physics.
The common denominator of these and all similar subjects' deals with an exploration of reality, and in the idealistic sense, how such knowledge can benefit human life on earth, both individually and collectively.
I agree Metaphysics deals with the most fundamental questions of life, that is to say, it explores the relationship of man, the mind and the universe as a whole.
And with this strong commitment to mankind and it's evolutionary process, I will train and certify others who wish to work as my confidant as they also pursue their own doctor of Metaphysics Degree.
I am a very knowledgeable Numerologist and a writer of college text books on all modalities of the arts and crafte. I became a Minister in 1980 and have continued my life supporting the strong spiritual souls who struggle and are gifted.
Surely we are in a great and amazing Earth shift and change is inevitable as the Universe will unfold exactly as it should. We need to be in it's unfolding now more than ever and Granted I tell all that destruction is not it's agenda!
May we embrace this change and let fall all that needs to that has not worked in the past and holds us in an Earth Body that struggles to evolve, and in peace and confidence, serve each other no matter what race, ethnic back ground or belief we hold as an individual.

THE BOOK OF RUNES

The Magical Stones That Reveal the Mysteries of Your Life.
Runes are alphabetical signs at least eighteen centuries old elaborated by ancient European people. These signs used to be employed in poetry, stone carvings and fortune-telling by many ancient tribes such as the Germans, the Celts and the Vikings.

Although they are an alphabet, the RUNES never became a spoken idiom. Each of its signs is a magical symbol. Therefore, the RUNES were assumed to be a ritual language, becoming the voice of an oracle.

Oracles, however, do not tell the future. Their purpose is to direct people to what is happening inside their minds in order to reach the answers from the subconscious.

Although there are many layouts and ways to use the runes, this one is particularly easy and straight forward. Below are the instructions for the included use. For more information on the runes, read further down the page to learn specific information on individual rune stones.

THE PROCEDURE
The 25 "little stones" must be put inside the bag and should always be picked one at a time. It is possible that fourteen of them can come out upside down. The position is fundamental in this case, because it changes the entire meaning, showing different aspects to be considered. The other eleven RUNES left, present the same meaning at any position.

While consulting, you may never ask questions such as: "Should I do this or that?". Instead, try to do it in ways like: "I have problems at work, relationships, etc." The oracle will provide you directions and comments about the matter so you will be able to find your own answers.

There are three kinds of consultants. During all of them, the RUNES must be placed exactly the way they have been picked. If the stone comes out face down, turn it face up. Always place them from the right to the left.

THE CONSULTATION OF THE RUNIC CROSS
When you are facing a difficult situation and need to understand what is happening, the oracle will give you answers through the runic cross. Pick six RUNES from the bag (always one at a time) and place them in a cross formation. 1 on the left center, 2 on the bottom center, 3 on the right center, 4 below number 2, 5 above number 2, and 6 above number 5.

--6
1 5 3
--2
--4

THE RUNES:
1 - It stands for your past
2 - It stands for your present situation
3 - It stands for the future
4 - It reveals the heart of the problem
5 - It is the challenge
6 - It shows the positive results after the challenge is overcome

THE CONSULTATION OF ODIN
Use this consultation for urgent situations. It helps you to find elements for an attitude. Pick one RUNE. That is the simplest way the oracle gives you a general view of the situation.

THE CONSULTATION OF THE THREE RUNES
Pick three RUNES (one at a time) and place them from the right to the left in order of appearance.

The first RUNE (on your right): it refers to your present situation.
The second RUNE (the one in between): it is the attitude to be taken.
The third RUNE (on your left): shows the direct consequence derived from your attitude.

THE VOICE OF THE ORACLE

Although there are rune symbols and their respective meanings shown below, these are meant as a basic guide to the runes and not an exact framework for all runes and the art of reading them. There are multiple layouts and means by which the runes may be read, and the info below is not specific to the Gemstone Rune Kits and Sets which we currently offer. If you click on these rune symbols, you will be taken to their more traditional symbols and respective meanings for rune reading and use derived from the Elder Futhark.

TRADITIONAL RUNE ALPHABET
(Elder Futhark)

There are many versions of the runic alphabets. Each have varying names, shapes, meanings and magical uses. When using rune alphabets, you should not mix futharks, nor their intent or their meanings become confused. The Elder Futhark, the Anglo-Saxon Futhorc, and the Younger (Scandinavian) Futhark are the most used of the runic alphabets in modern times.

The runes are broken into three sections, and each section has groups of eight. The sections are called aett (aettir, plural)..

Note: Some runes look alike, no matter how they are positioned. The rune symbols' meanings cannot be "reversed", or opposite of their primary meaning, yet any of the runes may appear as a "merkstave" (which means "dark stick" and implies a "dark" meaning), depending on how the rune(s) are cast.

A "merkstave" or "reversed" meaning is not the opposite of its primary meaning, but usually has a more negative connotation or inference.

We have posted the symbols and their respective meanings above for the two rune kits (Mixed Stones and Clear Quartz) we currently sell, but for the more traditional rune symbols and their respective meanings, simply click on the runes above and be taken to their sisters below to understand the subtle differences between the two. BLANK RUNE
There is no historical support for a "Blank Rune" in runic divination. It was invented in the 1980's. When using other methods of rune casting than those shown above (in our kits), you may wish to save the blank rune as a spare and not use it, as older, more traditional rune casters do not use the blank rune.

Making Your Own Runes

The runes you make yourself are always going to be more powerful and more attuned to you than the runes that you buy at a store. Not that there's anything wrong with store-bought runes-my first set of runes is a rocking collection of stones, but that's mostly because I have used them and kept them with me for ten years. I even make my own with symbols my psychic awareness has given me over 53 years in collecting!
But for this write I want to share just basics.

You can make your runes out of wood either by cutting 25 (or 24 if you're not using a Blank Rune) same-size squares from a board (remembering to sand the edges of each piece smooth) or getting a wooden dowel about 1 to 1½ inches in diameter, and cutting the dowel into 25 (or 24) disks about ½ to ¾ of an inch thick. If you don't want to deal with the hassle of saws and cutting and sanding (and who could blame you?), most arts and crafts stores, like A.C. Moore and Michael's, have precut wood in various sizes and shapes that are relatively inexpensive and perfectly cool to use. If you want to get more au naturel, go for a walk in the woods, find a tree with which you have a connection, and ask it for an appropriately sized branch that you can cut the runes from. Always ask permission, and always leave an offering behind as thanks.

Wooden runes are cool, but so are stone ones (plus, you get that fun clicking sound!), and with stone, you can use your favorite gemstone. Or you can just go on another walk, down to a river or creek, and find your stones that way. As always, ask for permission and leave an offering.

If you're using stones, try to get each one as close to the same size as possible, and make sure that at least one of the stone's sides is nice and flat (I find it difficult to draw or inscribe on a round, bumpy, hilly surface!).

Once you have all your stones, or all your wooden pieces, it's time to inscribe them with the runes. If you are using wood, you can use a wood-burning tool to inscribe each one. Or you can use paint. Most suggest using paint for your stones but I do like my personal touches and the element of a burning tool, although if you have stone that is soft enough, you may be able to use a dremel tool or something similar to inscribe the stones (this is not always possible, however-when I made my hematite runes, even the diamond-tip dremel couldn't cut those puppies). If you use paint on the stones, be sure to clear-coat each rune with some shellac to preserve the paint.
What color paint you use is entirely up to you, although I find red to be an all-around good color for runes.

Once the runes are dry, you are ready to cleanse and consecrate them. My ritual for this follows. It's a great ritual, if I do say so myself-very powerful. Saying each rune's name aloud during the ritual gives each rune its identity. Placing the runes in the cauldron is transforming them from mere stones/wooden disks to divinatory tools. Blowing on them further attunes them to your energies and use.

Once you've completed the ritual, the runes are ready for you to use. Keep your runes with you; carry them in a pouch in your purse or briefcase, sleep with them at night, give them a designated spot on your altar during rituals. Meditate with them-hold Fehu and meditate on its meanings, and work through the set. You may discover different interpretations as you work with the runes. Practice working with them, and they will become a part of you. And they will never let you down.

Divination with RUNES
Dr Raven Dolick MsD Nov 5, 2014
All rights reserved

Runes are the ancient method of writing using the Nordic alphabet. Although their origins are uncertain and shrouded in mystery and secrecy, it is thought that they were first used in Denmark in the third century. The word rune derives from the Norse word of runar, meaning mysterious, or magic sign, as well as from an ancient German word, raunen, meaning “to carve” or “to cut.” The first runes that were discovered were carved or cut into rock faces.
According to legend, the runic alphabet was formulated by the mythological god known as Odin, who was the leader of the Norse deities. He was also known as the one‐eyed god in the Scandinavian underworld.

Odin acquired his knowledge of the runes after hanging upside down from the Yggdrasil tree for nine days and nights without food or water, and pierced with his own spear. At the end of this period he was able to bend down and lift up the magical runes, which he then used in his travels to protect and heal those he met. There are other theories that the runic alphabet did not originate in Scandinavia at all, but rather they came from an adaptation of Greek letters, or that they are associated with Phoenician ancestry.

The number of letters in the runic alphabet has ranged, over the years, from 16 to 31, depending on the variations. There are also Germanic runes, Danish runes and Swedish‐Norse runes. However the most common form used now is based on the Anglo‐Saxon runic alphabet, which contains 24 letters. Runic writing was in use from the third century C.E. until relatively modern times, although this writing has never been a strictly utilitarian form of writing.
Originally, runes were carved on rock faces. However, as tribes started traveling they began to put the markings on small stones for ease of carrying. Later the letters were burnt or carved into small pieces of wood.

Today runes are made from a variety of substances, including wood, clay or engraved metal. The letters are generally comprised of straight lines. Usually there are no curves or ellipses, and the letters only appear on one side of the rune. The names of the letters often refer to an animal or object in nature, such as a horse or tree, because at some point it was felt that the shape of the letters resembled these objects to a certain degree.

While historians and anthropologists are unclear exactly how divination was achieved by using runes, they have surmised that the runic letters are correlated with archetypal and other powerful forces in the human collective unconscious. In order to predict the future or cast a spell, the runes were “cast,” in other words, thrown down, and those that land with the letters up are then interpreted.

The casting of the runes may be done in a variety of ways; on the ground, on a table or other prepared surface such as a piece of cloth. Some rune‐casters actually place the runes by hand, but whichever method you choose is a personal choice. The surface on which the runes are cast or placed is referred to as the “field.” This field is often divided into three areas or concentric circles. Today, however, the most common method is the clock formation, also known as the runic wheel.

The simplest runic wheel uses 13 of the runes. In order to protect the runes they are generally stored in a bag, such as a drawstring leather bag. When beginning a casting, the bag is shaken first. Then, reach in and draw out the specific number of runes that will be used. For example, if you’re using 13 in the runic wheel, you would begin by placing, face down, the first rune in the nine o’clock position, the second at the eight o’clock position, and so on in a counterclockwise direction until all the runes are laid. The 13th rune would then be placed in the center of the runic wheel.

A more complex runic wheel consists of using all 25 runes. These runes are laid out in twos in a clockwise direction beginning with the one o’clock position, and continuing around the clock, placing the last rune in the center. (As mentioned earlier the standard runic alphabet is 24 letters, but for divination purposes a 25th rune is added, which is blank on both sides, and which also has a specific meaning.) Again, they are always placed face down until completion of the wheel. Once the runes are all placed they are then turned over and the reading can begin.

There are other methods for casting runes. They are the three‐rune spread, a five‐rune spread or a seven rune spread. In addition, spreads used for Tarot Card reading can be adapted for runes, or use of the astrological chart by placing one rune on each of the 12 signs. A very simple method of rune divination is to hold the bag of runes in one hand and concentrate on a question you wish to ask, keeping the question simple. When you feel ready to receive an answer open the bag. Place a hand inside and move the stones around until one stone feels right in your fingers or seems to stick to them. This stone will give you the answer to your question, so draw it out of the bag and interpret it. If your question is more complex and you need a more detailed view then follow this same procedure but choose three runes and lay them out from left to right.

Once the method of casting has been decided upon, the reading is then based on the following symbolic meanings. Keep in mind that each letter can have two meanings, depending on whether it lands, or is placed, with the top facing up or down.

THE BLANK RUNE: This has numerous meanings. It can represent Karma from a previous life. It can also indicate that the question needs to be rephrased. It is also interpreted as the unknowable, the inevitable, and something that is predestined and cannot be changed.

Bear in mind that when reading runes from the runic wheel, you need to study what comes before and after each rune and compare this to the one in the center of the wheel, as well as with the runes that are opposite, before finalizing your interpretation.

You’ll find that in the many books on runes, the different authors have attributed various meanings to the runic alphabet letters. This is because no one knows exactly what each letter meant originally, as those meanings were lost in time. It has been suggested that you could take each individual rune and spend time with it, handle it and meditate upon it in order to arrive at its personal meaning for you. Also the runes are said to attain more powerful vibrations every time you use them.
