A Croning ceremony is celebrated when a female Pagan female enters the Crone stage of her life. This is a very important stage in every Pagan woman’s lifespan. The woman has made it through the Maiden and Mother phases, has lived through many experiences, and has finally reached the point where she can be considered a wise woman. Most Croning ceremonies are held with female friends and family members. It is appropriate for guests to bring a gift for the new Crone. The following are some gift ideas that are appropriate for Croning ceremonies.

Tea
A box of the honored Crone’s favorite tea is a good gift idea for a Croning ceremony. A tea gift basket can be easily made as well. Place a teacup and saucer in the center of a basket and surround them with a few boxes of tea. If your friend likes sugar in her tea you can add some sugar packets.

Candles and holders
Every Pagan likes to receive candles and holders as gifts. They are used in many rituals and other activities that Pagans participate in. A package of taper candles with a couple of appropriate holders can be placed nicely in a gift bag with some tissue paper.
A journal and pen
This is a good gift for a Crone. A journal is a great place for her to record all of the wisdom she has accumulated over the years. Making notes in a journal is a great way to share the wisdom with a younger generation of Pagans.

Magical cabinet items
There are many suitable magical cabinet gifts that would be appropriate for a Croning ceremony gift. These items include; drawstring bags, herbs, incense, ink, quill pens, parchment paper, gemstones, glass bottles, and essential oils.

Scrapbook

A scrapbook of the Crone’s life is a wonderful gift idea. Items to include in a scrapbook include; pictures, articles, written memories, a list of achievements, or anything that may have sentimental meaning to the woman.
