The Power of Cosmic Cycles ~ Part 1

The Nature of Cosmic Cycles

Dr Raven Dolick MsD

One of the defining songs of the 1960s was "Turn! Turn! Turn! (to Everything There Is a Season)," performed by The Byrds.

The lyrics, based on the Bible's Ecclesiastes 3, began:

"To everything - turn, turn, turn

"There is a season - turn, turn, turn

"And a time for every purpose under heaven"

As the song continues, it continually repeats the message that there is an appropriate time for everything - that cosmic cycles exist which promote certain types of activity.

What has the most cosmic influence?

The biggest source of energy reaching us from outer space is the Sun. The amount of energy streaming at us from the Sun seriously outweighs any energetic influence from the Moon, Mars, Jupiter, or any other celestial body.

What kind of cycles do we associate with the Sun?

Remember that life on Earth comes with a bonus - a free trip around the Sun once a year!

Then, it repeats and begins another orbit. So, the solar year is a cycle, and it's a big, energy-charged, cosmic cycle. Our orbit around the Sun is the most powerful cosmic cycle that affects us.

How does that relate to life on a personal level?

Can anything get any more significantly personal than your moment of birth? The moment you took the first breath of your incarnation is the start of a cycle that repeats each year at the same point in our annual orbital cycle around the Sun. From one birthday to the next is a one-year, personal, cosmically-powered cycle.

It therefore behooves us to discover what kind of influence each year will carry. For that, we will turn to the secrets held within the Creation of the universe.

The Structure of Creation

The mind that existed before the Creation is the same mind that fills all things today. Your own sense of awareness is an example of that universal mind flowing through your being. It is your sense of being.

It is an Infinite Being.

The state of Infinite Being is the ultimate consciousness behind all Creation. This one spiritual source of all awareness is known by various terms, including The Absolute, Tao, or the All That Is. The term Infinite Being encapsulates the idea of infinite, all-encompassing consciousness beyond which nothing else exists.

Although Infinite Being is perfect in all ways, at some point a decision was reached to create a universe - a platform for expressing Itself in many ways and knowing Itself from the experiences that such a platform would offer.

The first challenge was to create the framework of a universe from the only tool available for this work - and that tool is consciousness. Infinite Being realized that by employing two complementary, yet different, modes of consciousness, these two aspects of consciousness could then be set into motion in a variety of ways in order to create further tools of expression.

These two aspects of original consciousness can be termed pure thought and pure feeling. Now, as humans, it might be difficult to imagine pure thought and pure feeling as independent of each other. In the human realm, we are accustomed to feelings giving rise to thoughts and thoughts giving rise to feelings. In our experience, thoughts and feelings are intertwined.

The Creative Matrix

We are about to redefine the Law of Creation in more human-centric terms but, first, here it is in its most fundamental form:

The Original Law of Creation = Original Thought + Original Feeling + Original Motion

Now, a matrix is a rule-bound medium in which something can be created. The Original Law of Creation can therefore be termed, the Creative Matrix.

As it can be difficult to imagine pure thought and pure feeling as anything but being intertwined with each other, let's look at an example of those two original aspects of consciousness expressed in a densified form as physical energies.

Physical light is a combination of electric and magnetic energies vibrating at a certain frequency. Those energies of electricity and magnetism are distinctly different from each other. Think of lightning flashing across the sky in an electric storm and compare that to the quiet, attraction-charged energy of a bar magnet. Yet, when they interact with each other and are set into motion, electricity and magnetism become the electromagnetic light waves which support all physical life.

What words might be more meaningful to us at a human level than Original Thought and Feeling? What terms relate more to our personal experience? Think of the analogy of creating a house. An architect provides the thought by drawing up a plan of what is needed. Then, materials and resources are gathered together. Finally, the motion or action phase occurs when people build the house.

Thought can be seen as the ability to intend or plan something, while feelings provide a nurturing, gathering-together type of energy. Feelings protect, preserve, and provide the energy required for growth.

Thoughts project outward while feelings are magnetic in nature, gather inward and are therefore attractive in nature. To use more human-centric terminology, we can therefore state the Law of Creation as this:

Creation = Intention + Attraction + Motion

The Triple Matrix Effect

The Creative Matrix is the Divine aspect of Creation but, to generate all the complexity needed to manifest a physical universe, the process had to be repeated.

The original three components are intermixed with each other (three times three) to produce nine additional combinations of Original Consciousness.

That makes a total of twelve aspects of creative consciousness - the Original, Divine three plus the nine combinations that support physical manifestation.

The Structure of Creation

That 12-part model of Creation - the 3-part Creative Matrix plus the 9-part Triple Matrix Effect - is used and re-used throughout Creation. For example:

Twelve Spiritual Laws of Life: There are three Divine laws within the original Law of Creation. Then, there are nine more spiritual laws of life, created by the Triple Matrix Effect, that govern physical manifestation.

Twelve Levels of Existence: There are twelve levels of existence in the universe - three Divine and nine more, each level becoming more focused and dense than the one above it. We currently live in a dense physical level which is about to transform into a less dense version when all matter on the planet moves up into a higher physical frequency.

Twelve Dimensions: There are twelve main dimensions or properties (such as space and time) attributable to every physical object - the three Divine aspects of consciousness that created the Divine framework plus nine physical properties. Those nine fit into the categories of space, time, and different forms of energies and consciousness.

The Nine Physical Cycles: In the physical realm, you experience a solar cycle per year starting from your date of birth. Like all aspects of Creation, there are nine physical cycles and three immaterial, Divine cycles that formed the nine. The nine physical cycles are the ones of direct concern to life in the physical realm.

**** Coming up next: In Part 2 of this mini-course, The Power of Cosmic Cycles, we will examine the nature of those nine solar cycles of physical life and look into what causes their individual influences. Please make sure you are on our newsletter email list to receive notices from us.
