Dreams are the Window to the Soul

Dreams are the Window to the Soul

Your subconscious constantly and subtly speaks through your dreams and it’s just one of the many ways that your soul can reach out and speak to you. We all dream to some extent every night even if we’re not able to remember the dream the next morning. We remember some of our dreams with great clarity and interpretation, some we struggle to figure out, and there are others that just slip away as soon as the day starts. If you’re not working in partnership with your dreams then you’re missing out on a great resource for helpful advice, guidance, and direction. Over the years, I’ve taught myself to acknowledge and listen to my dreams. For example, just the other evening I had a dream that gave me vital information about an issue I was having with my body. I didn’t ignore this dream – and acted accordingly in resolving what my dream was telling me. I’m just thankful that I listened!
\When you tap in to the power of your dreams, they can provide an unlimited resource for you. Most people don’t know that you can often acquire the answers you’re looking for from your dreams, by a process called “Dream Incubation.” In others words, it’s possible to program your dreams to help you work out problems or issues that you may be having at a certain time. I highly recommend creating your own personal “Dream Journal.” If you’ve got a major issue to resolve and you’ve tried other methods, you could look to your dreams for help.
Here’s a useful tip. Before you go to bed, write down the issue or concern in your dream journal. It’s a bit like submitting your incubation request. Read it a few times to yourself before you drift off to sleep, so it remains fresh in your sub-conscious, allowing source to give you guidance. Try to keep the question or issue as short as possible, preferably to one sentence. For instance, you might write: “What’s the next move for me in my career?” or “How can I improve my relationship?” or even, “What’s going on with my body at this time?” It helps to wake up gently, so I hope you don’t have an alarm clock that shocks you awake!
When you awake, write down in your journal everything you received in the dream, anything that stands out, symbols, feelings, emotions, even the colors before your feet touch the floor, because by the time you get back from the bathroom, the dream may have slipped away. You may not remember anything or feel as though you didn’t even dream at all. Don’t give up. Try it for a few nights as you get used to programming yourself to dream and condition yourself to start remembering them. Ask the same question for a few nights and record in your journal anything and everything you receive, even if it doesn’t make sense. Even if it seems like a puzzle, the pieces will eventually fit together and you’ll see the message of guidance materialize from the pieces. When it happens for the first time, you’ll ask yourself how you didn’t see it before, as it will seem so obvious. That’s the beauty of dreams.

Remember that dreams are formed in the subconscious. They can be quite symbolic, as one symbol to you can often mean something totally different to someone else. Analyse the symbols you receive as it’s down to your own personal interpretation. If you don’t understand a symbol, then pause and ask yourself: “What does this symbol mean to me?” I found it helpful to look at some books on symbolism. That way they can be deposited in your mind for future reference for your subconscious. One great resource I recommend to everyone is the book Dream Images & Symbols by Kevin J. Todeschi. It’s available on Amazon and it’s the best book I have ever read on dreams, symbols, and their interpretations.

Anything that’s been stored in your subconscious is now part of your personal data bank that your soul can use in the future for dream work or intuitive information. It’s unlikely that you’re going to get a clear “yes” or “no” to your question. Sometimes, your dreams are your minds way of working out information stored throughout the day. It can be a sort of brain download or mind dump.
Even when they don’t seem to make any sense, it’s still worth writing down everything and anything, no matter how stupid it might seem at the time, for there could still be a small message hidden within the seemingly muddled information. As you learn to work with your dreams, you’ll recognize the patterns, symbols and be able to interpret how they’re trying to get your attention and talk to you.

I encourage you to start reading and studying as much as you can as you begin working with your dreams. It’s a resource that’s readily available to you and the more you use this soul ability, the more you’ll benefit from the guidance and messages.
Try making a commitment to keeping a “Dream Journal,” and to even try using “Dream Incubation” as a helpful tool.

Enjoy dreaming and live a Soul-Filled life!

Conscious vs. Unconscious Communication

What the Church knows is that we are all communicators, as already discussed earlier. Body, Emotion, Mind, and Spirit are always radiating and broadcasting subtle messages to the subtle fields of the Universe about us. But all that is at the automatic, unconscious, levels. It is unintentional communication without conscious messages.
Real Communication must be done consciously with a deliberate message intentionally targeting the desired communicant. Even if it is a message to an out-of-balance physical organ or energy center within our own body, it is Intention that focuses the power to knowingly bring change to heal disharmony and disease.
Everything and every entity vibrates, and the numbers assigned to that rate of vibration is a measure of speed and size of the energy keynote constantly radiating outward from the whole being—physical and non-physical. That keynote frequency is not absolutely fixed but does operate in a narrow enough range to serve as a kind of cosmic address for each person. Other people and other entities of both the physical world and the spiritual worlds likewise have such cosmic addresses (just like we use for email).

Getting in Sync!
But, to be fully effective, Communicator and Communicant need to be "in sync" with one another, be "on the same wavelength," the same frequency or at least in "parallel harmony" with each other. This will be explained shortly.
The human being can intentionally alter the wavelength of the messages he or she consciously wishes to send to a communicant whether in this world or others in order to reach the designated target. But, it's not as easily done as said. Within this physical world, email (or postal mail or a telephone call) is more reliable because there is a vast and dedicated support system to transfer the message in its purity and reach the target communicant free of interference.
Most of us are still unable to readily free our consciousness of the interfering incessant "noise" and "garbage" from within our own mind and emotion, and then to reliably raise the level of our frequency to specifically focus our awareness on the target so as to communicate accurately across the divide between the physical and spiritual (astral/mental/causal) worlds and reach a desired entity. Without a dedicated support service we need:
1.To bring out own mind under un-ambivalent control, and
2.To understand how to address any particular entity.

Absent a trained mind and such self-empowering techniques as meditation and self-hypnosis, and psychic-empowering skills as astral projection and clairvoyance, just as we do to reach across the divide of physical distance by the use of an intermediary (today mostly by means of electronic devices that have replaced the older roles of the pony express and before that of the town crier and long-distance runners) we need some form of intermediary to communicate with any non-physical entity.

Intermediaries Between the Worlds
While various gadgetry and "black boxes" have been pitched over the years to allow spirit voices to be heard, deliberate two-way communication is largely dependent on human intermediaries who have the ability to raise their level of consciousness and focus their awareness on the desired communicant. Aside from shamans, we know these intermediaries as Mediums and Channels.
Both the Medium and the Channel function between the Worlds of Physical and Spiritual Life, yet Spirit and Consciousness are everywhere and in everything. "Spirits" are non-physical entities, each embodying a unique and particularized consciousness, or "personality," and some of these also represent a larger Cosmic power and function. Each Spirit entity is as individual as is a living physically incarnate person like you, also embodying a particularized consciousness. In each of these worlds we have individuals seeking to communicate with one another.
Even though this article is about the use of intermediaries, I want to remind readers that every physically incarnate person is more than a body with a physical brain. We all are physical (and non-physical) beings currently expressing ourselves primarily through our multi-layered physical vehicle. Even as you may use an intermediary to communicate with non-physical entities, this experience will help build your own ability to eventually communicate directly with non-physical entities through your own non-physical self. The use of the trance state, whether self-induced or aided by another person or entity, is a means to focus the mind and exclude external distractions in order to have a clear focus on the desired communicant and the messages being communicated.

The Ambassador Between This World and the "Other Side"
Just to give us a way to better understand the challenge of communication between the Physical and Spiritual Worlds, let's think of them like two countries on opposite sides of the planet—speaking different languages and having different histories and cultures, but sharing a common goal of world peace. Nations exchange ambassadors, and it is the job of each ambassador to not only accurately translate the languages but fully understand the difference in cultures so that every communication is founded on common ground.
Our ambassador, is the intermediary, or "medium" between our Physical World on This Side and the Spirit World on the Other Side. The common ground is the universality of spirituality and consciousness. The difference is in the "vibratory" rates, or states of consciousness. Ambassador has to move between these two levels, and this is usually facilitated by her entry into a self-induced trance state. It is by means of this trance state that our Ambassador has focused and raised her consciousness to the level for communicating with the desired Spirit Entity on the Other Side (in this example we will call the surviving personality "Tom Smith.") Ambassador translates and communicates our messages to the Other Side, and then does the same for messages from the Other Side to This Side. In our theoretical example, it is Tom's daughter, Sarah, who wants to ask her deceased father what do about the library of old and valuable botanical books he so dearly loved. Both her sister, who now lives in Portland, and a distant nephew, now living in Atlanta, are asking about the collection. Should Sarah sell the books or give them to one or the other person? Earth is able to bring Tom Smith through and he says to sell the books and split the money between Sarah and her sister.
Such exchanges between the Physical and Spiritual Worlds has gone on for many millennium, but was largely denigrated and forgotten in the Western World until a few hundred years ago, culminating in the Spiritualist movement today.

The Deeper You Go, the More You Know

The more you know, and the deeper you go, the more control over your world you have. The Big World is composed of many small worlds. Big Worlds are the Organizations and Institutions of the modern world, but all organizations and institutions are composed of individuals. Individuals can control the big organizations and institutions, but they have to understand their nature and structure, and know their purpose.
Big Institutions and Organizations thrive on individuals' ignorance of their nature and purpose, and dominate YOU by your faith in in the "Big Picture" they've drawn for you and for which they ask for your money and your "vote." They need you, but claim that you need them. Often they reflect antique ideologies based on out-of-date beliefs about reality, serving only to benefit their self-serving leadership who use their immense power to support wealthy and powerful special interests.
It's up to you to gain the knowledge, to train your mind, and to raise your "frequency" (a measure of vibrations; more about this in reference to your states of consciousness later) to see things for what they really are. Don't be guided by their fear-inducing slogans that are really selling you a "bill of goods" contrary to your best interests, contrary to the natural order, and contrary to the cosmic directive calling for your personal development.

It’s All in YOUR Attitude
Your attitude towards the world is either passive and reactive or active and cooperative. The truth is that "WE are the World." We and the World; Humanity and Nature; Body and Emotion, Mind and Spirit; Individuals and their Institutions—all are partners and must work together in cooperative understanding of our interdependent relationship. But it is now essential that we do this consciously and become more and more fully aware. We must BELIEVE in our own power to do so. It is "We, the People" who must assert our Freedom and take responsible control over our institutions that serve as communities of public interest.
In the past, "Belief" was largely imposed by Church and State, and both demanded and enforced obedience regardless of science, law, or personal belief. That Belief—imposed in the West by the dominant religious institutions—precluded people from all individual communication with Spirit and Spiritual Entities, basically defined as anything non-physical, hence not of this world! The Other World was literally owned by the Church, and only their authorized personnel could legally (since the Church dominated the State) communicate with other world entities.

Human Beings Being

Thousands of years ago, humanity made a decision; a decision to live with a sense of inner separation.
At that time, spirits had become tired of incarnating as fully-aware spirits-in-physicality. They wanted more challenge in life. They wanted to turn life into a mystery; a true, stand-alone human experience, not just an extension of spirit into matter.

Bear in mind that, in the natural state of spiritual living, as free spirits in the mental realms, there are very few limitations. People can manifest anything they need, relocate instantly in space, shift to a different position in time, all at the speed of thought. In the mental realms, people can visit friends or go along with them, exploring the universe, all through the power of thought. That's why they're called the mental realms.

To be more specific, the mental realms exist in fifth density consciousness and are the domain of your soul or inner being. Between third-density physicality and the fifth-density realm of your inner being lies the fourth-density spirit or astral realm, populated by people in the early to main stages of the afterlife. In the late stages of the afterlife, people move into fifth density to consider their options for further experience.
Physical incarnation is always voluntary. Nothing compels your soul to incarnate into another physical life. It is always a decision at the personal and soul group level whether to come back into physical life on Earth.

Thousands of years ago, physical experience was a fully-conscious extension of spirit into matter. People knew who they were as spirits, connected to their inner selves and to the universe as a whole.
"What if," they said, "we came into physical existence and didn't know who we were? We could devote our whole lives to searching for the answer to the mystery. Imagine what a challenge it would be!"
Humankind then made the joint decision to immerse itself further into a denser, more focused reality. Their focus was directed upon the physical senses, along with a detachment from the superconscious and subconscious levels of thinking. By maintaining a tight focus upon the "outer" world of the senses, humans could even believe that they are fixed into one location in space and locked into a time continuum.

Imagine, physical life would become so intense, so real, so convincing. Now, most people love exhilarating rides, like the ones at amusement parks. And, if the ride seems scary, so much the better. Roller coaster rides are scary. The old Ghost Train rides at U.K. fairgrounds were scary. Disney's Haunted Mansions at their theme parks in California, Florida, Paris and Tokyo are all very scary. So scary that, when the rides end, people say,
"That was great! Want to go round again?"
Life can be scary, too. A life spent without a constant, conscious connection to your true inner nature is always a challenge.

Today, the amusement park ride of inner separation is coming to an end. The Shift to the New Reality is happening today. We are becoming more and more aware of our inner nature. Those who grasp the idea of the New Reality will actively develop that inner connection, and not just wait for it to surprise them as it slowly unfolds.
And remember, this ride through intense physicality was always a choice. We may not remember as far back as when the choice was made, but, at a soul level, we've been willingly hopping on and off the theme park ride of physical life on Earth ever since.

We incarnate for the experience of physical life, and to help transform this reality towards its ultimate state; one which, today, is looming very near.

These are the days of transformation, the time of The Shift. The scary ride is coming to an end. As a culture, we are about to find ourselves and reconnect within.

The Power of Thoughts

Can you think your way to a better you?
Maybe so.

There is something to be said for thinking positively.
According to the Law of Attraction, you reap what you sow. In other words, your thoughts become reality.
The Law of Attraction states that whatever you focus on is drawn to you, so if you focus on positive thoughts, you draw in positive things and positive situations. If you focus on negative things, then the opposite happens.
There is some research in positive psychology that states that those who have a more positive and optimistic attitude often live longer and happier lives than their pessimistic counterparts.

So the answer is that you can, in fact, think your way to a better you, and here's how.
Your subconscious mind creates your thoughts every hour of every day.
Some of these thoughts are automatic and some are intentional.

When you drive a car, for example, you instinctively know how to drive it, and you don't really have to think too much about the process itself.
Everything you do and say gets recorded, or rather imprinted, onto your subconscious mind, so it is important to program in healthy thoughts.
Your subconscious mind is like a sponge, soaking in knowledge and information.
Everything you have ever been exposed to is recorded in your mind, and these are the same thoughts that create the world around you.

If you grew up in a hostile environment, for example, with people criticizing your every move, then a part of you still feels that criticism, and part of you still expects it.
Because your thoughts are focused on criticism, you continue to create a hostile environment, even if you don't consciously remain aware of it.
If you want to change the world around you, you must begin by changing your thoughts.

Think about the thoughts that you are focused on throughout the day. Are they positive, happy thoughts or negative, critical thoughts?
Do you wake up on the wrong side of the bed every morning or jump out of bed with a smile on your face? Changing your thoughts sounds easy, but the reality is it can be a little challenging to do.

One of the easiest ways to think yourself to a better you is to create affirmations that reflect the kind of life you want to live. Affirmations are simply short, positive statements set in the present tense.
You can use them by repeating them in your mind or even saying them aloud several times during the day.
You can also meditate and repeat your affirmations while you do so. Combine this with some simple visualizations, and you have a recipe for success.

Let's say, for example, that you would like to manifest a better relationship. One of the easiest ways to do so is to create some affirmations that reflect the state of mind that you would be in if you were a part of a healthy relationship.
You could create some short, simple statements and then repeat them in your mind as you picture yourself enjoying a healthy relationship.
You might create statements like "I have all the love I need and desire" or even "All of my relationships are immensely satisfying."
If you were looking for that perfect partner, you could say, "I enjoy a loving, healthy relationship" or "My partner and I are deeply committed to each other."

You could combine these affirmations with some visualizations and picture you and your new partner walking hand-in-hand or laughing and enjoying a date.
The point is that you are taking positive steps to help your mind attract this new partner.
Your energy then shifts and you begin attracting people into your life that complement you and desire you.

Your subconscious mind, which you can access during meditation or even self-hypnosis, does not differentiate between reality and imagination, so it simply manifests whatever it is you happen to be focused on.

You can use the same process to manifest a new job, a new house or even a new life. When you change that self-talk, you change your energy in a very powerful way.
In essence, you can begin to think yourself to a better you.
You can build yourself up and create any kind of life you desire, you just have to believe you have the power to do so.

Combine that belief with some emotions, and you can literally transform your life in every way.

It's also important to put some action into your plan because you aren't going to manifest much of anything by sitting in an empty room daydreaming all day long.
It's important to get yourself out there and start taking positive steps toward your goal. By changing your self-talk, you will start changing your energy, which will change your level of motivation.
So chances are, you will feel motivated and inspired to go do things anyway.

If you make a commitment to yourself to take 10-15 minutes out of every day to focus on this new intention, you can make some great strides toward a better life by becoming a better version of yourself.
So the truth of the matter is that you can think your way to a better life, and it is easier than you could have ever imagined.

The power of your subconscious mind is available to you, so why not take advantage?

Magical Wreaths

Make a Magical Herb Wreath

Make a wreath from magical herbs that suit your purpose.
If you use herbs in your magical practice at all - and many of us do - a great way to incorporate them into your daily life is to use them in decorative ways around your home. One of the most popular ways to do this is by crafting a simple wreath from your favorite magical herbs. You can customize your wreath based upon your purpose, and hang it on your door or over your altar, or even give it to a friend who might be in need of a magical boost.
My Romani Tradition even makes these for special occasions and individual power pieces.

You'll need the following:
Freshly cut herbs of your choice (see below for magical combinations)
A wire wreath frame, available from most craft stores
Optional: florist's wire, ribbon, and a hot glue gun (I prefer all my power pieces to be all natural but hold no judgments here on use of glues, adhesives and chemical substances)

This is one of the easiest craft projects you can ever make - simply use the wreath frame as a base, and use the florist's wire to anchor the fresh herbs into place. Finish it off with a bit of decorative ribbon, or other magical goodies you may want to add. The more important information here is not how to make the wreath itself - chances are good that you don't need a tutorial for that - but what to put on it.

When you're working with magical herbs, it's never a bad idea to combine things that serve a common purpose. Although I wouldn't recommend using more than about three or four of these herbs on a single wreath (and you certainly can, it's just that it can start to look a little cluttered), here are some suggestions for combinations of herbs to use for various magical purposes:

Healing Wreath: Use popular healing herbs like Apple blossom, lavender, barley, comfrey, eucalyptus, fennel, chamomile, goldenseal, borage, feverfew, horehound, lady's mantle, allspice, olive, rosemary, rue, sandalwood, wintergreen, or peppermint.

Protection Wreath: Hang a protection wreath on your front door, made from some of the following. Aloe vera, hyssop, asoefetida, mandrake, heather, holly, mugwort, onion, wood betony, valerian, sandalwood, snapdragon, fleabane, mustard, garlic, foxglove, dill, mistletoe.

Prosperity Wreath: This makes a great gift for friends, as well as something you can make for yourself. Herbs associated with prosperity include bay leaf, basil, chamomile, clover, cinquefoil, tonka bean, Buckeye, myrtle, apple, sunflower, pennyroyal. Tie it up with a green or gold ribbon, for a bit of color magic as well.

Love Wreath: What better way to invite love into your home than by hanging a wreath full of love herbs on your door? Use a blend of allspice, apple blossom, bleeding heart, catnip, lavender, periwinkle, peppermint, tulip, violet, daffodil, clove, yarrow, marjoram, basil, fig, valerian, and endive to let the universe know you're ready to welcome love into your life.

After your wreath has dried out, you can remove the leaves and store them for future magical use. Be sure to read up on Harvesting, Drying and Storing Your Magical Herbs.
