Alexandrian/Gardnerian: To reveal this would be to break my oath of secrecy. I can say, though, that it *really* is an ancient rite, dating far back in time, back even before 1951, and I have learned it from an unbroken lineage. As Gerald said, it takes a chicken to make an egg.

Asatru: First, we don't believe in a "One Chicken" or a "Hen and Rooster." We believe in many chickens. Second, "crossing the road" is part of the three levels, or worlds, and the chicken simply crossed from one level to another. Hail to the Chickens!

British Traditional: The word "chicken" comes from a very specific Old English word ("gechekken"), and it only properly applies to certain fowl of East Anglia or those descended therefrom. As for the rest, I suppose they are doing something remotely similar to crossing the road, but you must remember that traditional roads are not to be confused with the modern roads....

Celtic: In County Feedbeygohn on Midsummer's day, there is still practiced St. Henny's Dance, which is a survival of the old pagan Chicken Crossing fertility rite. Today, modern pagans are reviving the practice, dedicated to the Hen and the Green Rooster.

Ceremonial: "Crossing the road" is a phrase that summarizes many magical structures erected and timed by the chicken to produce the energy necessary for the intention of the travel across the road. For example, the astrological correspondences had to be correct, the moon had to be waxing (if the chicken intended to come to the other side of the road) or waning (if the chicken intended to flee to the other side of the road), and the chicken had to prepare herself through fasting and proper incantations. Note: certain forms of invocation (summoning an egg *inside* your chicken self) can produce abnormal or even dangerous eggs and should only be conducted inside a properly erected barnyard....

Chaos: Thinking in terms of "roads" and "crossings" is simply looking at the formal, typically perceived structure of chicken crossing space-time. We, instead, focus on the possibility of chicken crossing itself; what appears to be a random act is thus actually the norm ---- it is the **road** which is the freak of chance. Indeed, quantum mechanics now demonstrates what we knew all along: two roads can simultaneously exist in the same place at the same time. Thus, by attuning ourselves to the dynamic energy (called "crossing"), we can manifest the road. Of course, to the knowledgeable, this appears as a chicken crossing the road.

Dianic: The chykyn ("chicken" is term of patriarchal oppression) sought to reclaim for herself the right to be on the other side of the road, after it had been denied to her for centuries. By doing so, she reawakened the power of the Hen within herself.

Discordian: cock-a-doodle-doo!

Druid: To get to the sacred grove, of course! Keep in mind that 99% of everything written about chickens-crossing-the-road is pure hogwash, based on biased sources. Yes, there were a few unfortunate chicken sacrifices in the past, but that is over now...

Eclectic: Because it seemed right to her at the time. She used some Egyptian style corn and a Celtic sounding word for the road and incorporated some Native American elements into her Corn-name, Chicken-Who-Dances-and-Runs-with-the-Wolves.

Faery: In twilight times and under sparkling stars, those properly trained can still see the chickens crossing the roads. Reconnecting with these "fey-fowl" as they cross is crucial to restoring the balance between the energies of modern development and living with the earth.

Family Traditional: Growing up, we didn't think much about "crossing the road." A chicken was a chicken. It crossed the road because that was what worked to get her to the other side. We focused on what worked, and we worked more with the elders of the barnyard and less with all this "guardians of the chickencoop" business. We didn't get our concepts of "chickens" or "the other side" from Gardner, either. You can choose not to believe us since we did not "scratch down" on paper what was clucked to us orally (which, at certain times in history, was the only way to avoid becoming Easter chicken soup!), but that doesn't change the facts: there *were* real chickens, and they *really did* cross the road!

Llewellyn's Practical Chicken Magick Series: To some people, the idea that "chickens crossing the road" is practical comes as a surprise. It shouldn't. The whole idea of Crossing the Road is practical for chickens. Doreen Valiente: Old Chicken really did exist, and she really did cross the road. Gerald talked about her often, but she didn't cross the road till before I began studying with Gerald. Still there are records of Old Chicken which confirm her reality. As for all the comments that Gerald had a "thing" for chickens, that is simply not true. The reason we worked with chickens is really quite simple: it worked!

Silver Raven Wolf: Although many times people have asked me why exactly the chicken crossed the road, I often wonder myself. My point is that every chicken comes to the road in a different way, and there is no one correct way for the chicken to get to the road to be crossed. The study of crossing the road is hard work if the chicken is going to develop any degree of proficiency. It is not something where you can just cluck yourself across the road. The first time my chicken crossed the road was for my chicken's friend, whose rooster was being abusive. The chicken worked the steps for crossing the road after carefully considering all the reasons for crossing the road and all the steps she would have to take. Finally, my chicken just started clucking and flapping her wings and started across the road. When she reached the other side, her friend's rooster was respectful! Afterwards, the chicken ate some corn to ground herself.

You Are Concealing Realities

 Personal attachments to notions, particularly cultural and spiritual notions, is regrettably very common....
While experiencing a belief scheme from the inside is normally a wise choice, likening your identity with any fixed opinion is a disempowering error. As the idea of reality reveals, beliefs are a way you can view reality.
Each reveals some facets of reality while concealing others. The more views you experience, the more complete your understanding of the whole. Even if you get incredibly attached to one specific view, it remains merely a view and can't define you. Adhesion to one particular view of reality limits your might and cuts back your power to connect with individuals who hold different views.

This is a hard concept for many individuals to accept as we grow used to identifying with our notions. It may be disconcerting to quit identifying with any fixed ideology and to recognize that all beliefs are views and can't define us. Social disciplining unfortunately tells us we have to turn one specific set of ideas into our individuality.

Are you a capitalist? A Christian? A doubter? The way these questions are asked presumes you have to respond with a yes or no. But this is like asking if you're an eye, an ear, or a nose. It would be more judicious to ask questions like "Do you comprehend the point of view of Christianity?" Rather than attempting to equate it with your personal identity. When you begin linking particular beliefs to who you are, you unnaturally restrict your sense of self. This practice violates the idea of might.

It's far more productive for us to learn to view reality through multiple views and look for higher truths together rather than battling over who holds the most popular view.
Among the most empowering choices you are able to arrive at is to decouple your beliefs from your personal identity. In spite of how firmly held your beliefs might be, they may never define you. If you alter your faith, you're still you. A given belief system may only limit your power to grow.

You are literally refusing to access a power within you that will give you the ability to create your world any way you want it.

Step outside your beliefs. It is like going from being blind all your life to seeing.

Egyptian Sexual Energy and the Orgasm

To orgasm or not to orgasm, that is the question.
When it comes to Tantra and the concept of using sexual energy and love-making as a path to God or the Divine, there has long been conflicting opinions as to the role of orgasms in achieving these higher states of consciousness. Many insist that the man can only attain union with the Divine if he abstains from orgasms and retains his seed. Then there is those who believe that even orgasm in women leads to changes in bio-chemistry that can cause disconnection later on. Apparently the Egyptians believed otherwise. I think that they were right in many ways; in my experience it does not matter as much whether to orgasm or not, but what we do with the energy that gets awakened before, during and after orgasm, whether we allow it to dissipate leaving us empty or whether we know how to guide it in ways that will feed our spirit. This is true not just for orgasm but for any state of sexual arousal. That is why I always suggest that people focus on the making of love rather than having sex. If love is the focus and intent then you don't need any special technique and you really don't need to know about chakras or anything esoteric. Let the beauty and pleasure of sexual energy ignite and open your love channel, that of personal love for your partner, but also that of Divine Love and you will be on the right path.
The Ankh and the Orgasm

It was believed in ancient Egypt that the orgasm was the key to eternal life, and that it was intimately connected with the chakra system. A chakra is an energy vortex connected to the entire human energy field, and the Universal Heart Chakra is the fifth of thirteen chakras. (There is also a system of eight chakras; in that system, the heart chakra is number four.) The Egyptian system held that the orgasm was intimately connected to this fifth, or Universal Heart Chakra.
First, we will explain the connection to eternal life.
Most people in the world are ignorant about what happens to their sexual energy after they have an orgasm. Usually, the energy moves up the spine and out the top of the head directly into the eighth or thirteenth chakra (same chakra, different system). In a few rare cases, the sexual energy is released down the spine into the hidden center below the feet, the point opposite the one above the head. In either case, the sexual energy — the concentrated life-force energy called prana in Hinduism — is dissipated and lost. It is similar to discharging a battery into a ground wire. It is no longer in the battery and so it is gone forever. This is what all the world's Tantric systems that I am aware of believe, that orgasm brings one a little closer to death because a person loses his or her life-force energy in the orgasm and is made weaker. But the Egyptians found long ago that it does not have to be this way.
It is for this reason that the Hindu and Tibetan Tantra systems ask the male to avoid ejaculating. Instead, they speak of these tiny invisible tubes where, when a student learns to control the orgasm and the flow of their sexual energy, the sperm migrates up to the higher centers.
Both of these systems, and also the Chinese Taoist system, are all primarily concerned with the sexual energy flow, sometimes referred to as “sexual currents.” They are primarily concerned with what happens as the sexual energy is moved before the orgasm, but they all have entirely different views of this energy compared to the Egyptians.
The Egyptians believed that orgasm is healthy and necessary, including the release of sperm in males, but that the sexual energy currents must be controlled in a deeply esoteric procedure that is unlike any other system. They believed that if this energy is controlled, the human orgasm becomes a source of infinite pranic energy that is not lost. They believe that the entire Mer-Ka-Ba or lightbody (the field of energy surrounding and interpenetrating the body) benefits from this sexual release. They even believe that under the right conditions the orgasm will directly lead to eternal life, and that the ankh is the key.

What I am about to reveal to you, is some of the most important secretive mind blowing information, that’s known only to a few.

Everyone needs to be told the truth but only a few will act upon it.

You and only you can change this scenario right around by just knowing what’s going on and questioning your reality. Right now without sounding rude at least 98% of people are walking around in a trance state with their heads buried in the sand. Deep inside every human in the world knows something’s not right, but doesn’t know exactly what it is or choose to ignore it , maybe it will go away. “IT WON’T”. Unless you apply change.

The human race is in a hypnotic trance every bit as much as any subject in a hypnotist’s stage show; even more so, in fact, because the stooge on the stage only has one hypnotist working on him for a short time. In everyday life we are all being bombarded with thousands of hypnotic implants. The central theme of the end times imbedded in all religions throughout our history and a push for war, sacrifice and destruction?

To understand how this all can be pulled off let me take you back to our recent past that many on earth knew nothing about.......

In 1982 a remarkable event took place. At the University of Paris a research team led by physicist Alain Aspect performed what may turn out to be one of the most important experiments of the 20th century. You did not hear about it on the evening news. In fact, unless you are in the habit of reading scientific journals you probably have never even heard Aspect’s name, though there are some who believe his discovery may change the face of science.Aspect’s experiment is related to the EPR Experiment, a consicousness experiment which had been devised by Albert Einstein, and his colleagues,Poldlsky and Rosen, in order to disprove Quantum Mechanics on the basis of the Pauli Exclusion Principle contradicting Special Relativity.

Aspect and his team discovered that under certain circumstances subatomic particles such as electrons are able to instantaneously communicatewith each other regardless of the distance separating them. It doesn’t matter whether they are 10 feet or 10 billion miles apart.

Somehow each particle always seems to know what the other is doing. The problem with this feat is that it violates Einstein’s long-held tenet that no communication can travel faster than the speed of light. Since traveling faster than the speed of light is tantamount to breaking the time barrier, this daunting prospect has caused some physicists to try to come up with elaborate ways to explain away Aspect’s findings. But it has inspired others to offer even more radical explanations.

University of London physicist David Bohm, for example, believes Aspect’s findings imply that objective reality does not exist, that despite its apparent solidity the universe is at heart a phantasm, a gigantic and splendidly detailed hologram.

To understand why Bohm makes this startling assertion, one must first understand a little about holograms. A hologram is a three- dimensional photograph made with the aid of a laser.

To make a hologram, the object to be photographed is first bathed in the light of a laser beam. Then a second laser beam is bounced off the reflected light of the first and the resulting interference pattern (the area where the two laser beams commingle) is captured on film.

When the film is developed, it looks like a meaningless swirl of light and dark lines. But as soon as the developed film is illuminated by another laser beam, a three-dimensional image of the original object appears.

The three-dimensionality of such images is not the only remarkable characteristic of holograms. If a hologram of a rose is cut in half and then illuminated by a laser, each half will still be found to contain the entire image of the rose.

Indeed, even if the halves are divided again, each snippet of film will always be found to contain a smaller but intact version of the original image. Unlike normal photographs, every part of a hologram contains all the information possessed by the whole.

The “whole in every part” nature of a hologram provides us with an entirely new way of understanding organization and order. For most of its history, Western science has labored under the bias that the best way to understand a physical phenomenon, whether a frog or an atom, is to dissect it and study its respective parts. A hologram teaches us that some things in the universe may not lend themselves to this approach. If we try to take apart something constructed holographically, we will not get the pieces of which it is made, we will only get smaller wholes.

This insight suggested to Bohm another way of understanding Aspect’s discovery. Bohm believes the reason subatomic particles are able to remain in contact with one another regardless of the distance separating them is not because they are sending some sort of mysterious signal back and forth, but because their separateness is an illusion. He argues that at some deeper level of reality such particles are not individual entities, but are actually extensions of the same fundamental something. This fundamental connectedness would correlate with The Fifth Element, and its mathematical proof of all aspects of the universe being energetically connected – Hal Puthoff’s assertion in his work on Zero-Point Energy of all charges in the universe being connected and that further mass is in all likelihood an illusion as well – and both of these modern day theories of physics being in accordance with ancient traditions and philosophies, which claim the same connectedness of the diverse parts of the universe. To enable people to better visualize what he means, Bohm offers the following illustration. Imagine an aquarium containing a fish. Imagine also that you are unable to see the aquarium directly and your knowledge about it and what it contains comes from two television cameras, one directed at the aquarium’s front and the other directed at its side.

As you stare at the two television monitors, you might assume that the fish on each of the screens are separate entities. After all, because the cameras are set at different angles, each of the images will be slightly different. But as you continue to watch the two fish, you will eventually become aware that there is a certain relationship between them.

When one turns, the other also makes a slightly different but corresponding turn; when one faces the front, the other always faces toward the side. If you remain unaware of the full scope of the situation, you might even conclude that the fish must be instantaneously communicating with one another, but this is clearly not the case.

This, says Bohm, is precisely what is going on between the subatomic particles in Aspect’s experiment.

According to Bohm, the apparent faster-than-light connection between subatomic particles is really telling us that there is a deeper level of reality we are not privy to, a more complex dimension beyond our own that is analogous to the aquarium. And, he adds, we view objects such as subatomic particles as separate from one another because we are seeing only a portion of their reality.

Such particles are not separate “parts”, but facets of a deeper and more underlying unity that is ultimately as holographic and indivisible as the previously mentioned rose. And since everything in physical reality is comprised of these “eidolons”, the universe is itself a projection, a hologram.

In addition to its phantomlike nature, such a universe would possess other rather startling features. If the apparent separateness of subatomic particles is illusory, it means that at a deeper level of reality all things in the universe are infinitely interconnected.

The electrons in a carbon atom in the human brain are connected to the subatomic particles that comprise every salmon that swims, every heart that beats, and every star that shimmers in the sky. Everything interpenetrates everything, and although human nature may seek to categorize and pigeonhole and subdivide, the various phenomena of the universe, all apportionments are of necessity artificial and all of nature is ultimately a seamless web.

In a holographic universe, even time and space could no longer be viewed as fundamentals. Because concepts such as location break down in a universe in which nothing is truly separate from anything else, time and three-dimensional space, like the images of the fish on the TV monitors, would also have to be viewed as projections of this deeper order.

At its deeper level reality is a sort of superhologram in which the past, present, and future all exist simultaneously. This suggests that given the proper tools it might even be possible to someday reach into the superholographic level of reality and pluck out scenes from the long-forgotten past.

What else the superhologram contains is an open-ended question. Allowing, for the sake of argument, that the superhologram is the matrix that has given birth to everything in our universe, at the very least it contains every subatomic particle that has been or will be – every configuration of matter and energy that is possible, from snowflakes to quasars, from bluü whales to gamma rays. It must be seen as a sort of cosmic storehouse of “All That Is.” Although Bohm concedes that we have no way of knowing what else might lie hidden in the superhologram, he does venture to say that we have no reason to assume it does not contain more. Or as he puts it, perhaps the superholographic level of reality is a “mere stage” beyond which lies “an infinity of further development”.

Bohm is not the only researcher who has found evidence that the universe is a hologram. Working independently in the field of brain research, Standford neurophysiologist Karl Pribram has also become persuaded of the holographic nature of reality.

Pribram was drawn to the holographic model by the puzzle of how and where memories are stored in the brain. For decades numerous studies have shown that rather than being confined to a specific location, memories are dispersed throughout the brain.

In a series of landmark experiments in the 1920s, brain scientist Karl Lashley found that no matter what portion of a rat’s brain he removed he was unable to eradicate its memory of how to perform complex tasks it had learned prior to surgery. The only roblem was that no one was able to come up with a mechanism that might explain this curious “whole in every part” nature of memory storage. Then in the 1960s Pribram encountered the concept of holography and realized he had found the explanation brain scientists had been looking for. Pribram believes memories are encoded not in neurons, or small groupings of neurons, but in patterns of nerve impulses that crisscross the entire brain in the same way that patterns of laser light interference crisscross the entire area of a piece of film containing a holographic image. In other words, Pribram believes the brain is itself a hologram.

Pribram’s theory also explains how the human brain can store so many memories in so little space. It has been estimated that the human brain has the capacity to memorize something on the order of 10 billion bits of information during the average human lifetime (or roughly the same amount of information contained in five sets of the Encyclopaedia Britannica).

Similarly, it has been discovered that in addition to their other capabilities, holograms possess an astounding capacity for information storage-simply by changing the angle at which the two lasers strike a piece of photographic film, it is possible to record many different images on the same surface. It has been demonstrated that one cubic centimeter of film can hold as many as 10 billion bits of information.

Our uncanny ability to quickly retrieve whatever information we need from the enormous store of our memories becomes more understandable if the brain functions according to holographic principles. If a friend asks you to tell him what comes to mind when he says the word “zebra”, you do not have to clumsily sort back through ome gigantic and cerebral alphabetic file to arrive at an answer. Instead, associations like “striped”, “horselike”, and “animal native to Africa” all pop into your head instantly.

Indeed, one of the most amazing things about the human thinking process is that every piece of information seems instantly cross-correlated with every other piece of information-another feature intrinsic to the hologram. Because every portion of a hologram is infinitely interconnected with ever other portion, it is perhaps nature’s supreme example of a cross-correlated system.

The storage of memory is not the only neurophysiological puzzle that becomes more tractable in light of Pribram’s holographic model of the brain. Another is how the brain is able to translate the avalanche of frequencies it receives via the senses (light frequencies, sound frequencies, and so on) into the concrete world of our perceptions. Encoding and decoding frequencies is precisely what a hologram does best. Just as a hologram functions as a sort of lens, a translating device able to convert an apparently meaningless blur of frequencies into a coherent image, Pribram believes the brain also comprises a lens and uses holographic principles to mathematically convert the frequencies it receives through he senses into the inner world of our perceptions.

An impressive body of evidence suggests that the brain uses holographic principles to perform its operations. Pribram’s theory, in fact, has gained increasing support among neurophysiologists.

Argentinian-Italian researcher Hugo Zucarelli recently extended the holographic model into the world of acoustic phenomena. Puzzled by the fact that humans can locate the source of sounds without moving their heads, even if they only possess hearing in one ear, Zucarelli discovered that holographic principles can explain this ability.

Zucarelli has also developed the technology of holophonic sound, a recording technique able to reproduce acoustic situations with an almost uncanny realism.

Pribram’s belief that our brains mathematically construct “hard” reality by relying on input from a frequency domain has also received a good deal of experimental support. It has been found that each of our senses is sensitive to a much broader range of frequencies than was previously suspected. Researchers have discovered, for instance, that our visual systems are sensitive to sound frequencies, that our sense of smell is in part dependent on what are now called “cosmic frequencies”, and that even the cells in our bodies are sensitive to a broad range of frequencies. Such findings suggest that it is only in the holographic domain of consciousness that such frequencies are sorted out and divided up into conventional perceptions. But the most mind-boggling aspect of Pribram’s holographic model of the brain is what happens when it is put together with Bohm’s theory. For if the concreteness of the world is but a secondary reality and what is “there” is actually a holographic blur of frequencies, and if the brain is also a hologram and only selects some of the frequencies out of this blur and mathematically transforms them into sensory perceptions, what becomes of objective reality?

Put quite simply, it ceases to exist. As the religions of the East have long upheld, the material world is Maya, an illusion, and although we may think we are physical beings moving through a physical world, this too is an illusion. We are really “receivers” floating through a kaleidoscopic sea of frequency, and what we extract from this sea and transmogrify into physical reality is but one channel from many extracted out of the superhologram. This striking new picture of reality, the synthesis of Bohm and Pribram’s views, has come to be called the Holographic Paradigm, and although many scientists have greeted it with skepticism, it has galvanized others. A small but growing group of researchers believe it may be the most accurate model of reality science has arrived at thus far.

More than that, some believe it may solve some mysteries that have never before been explainable by science and even establish the paranormal as apart of nature. Numerous researchers, including Bohm and Pribram, have noted that many para-psychological phenomena become much more understandable in terms of the holographic paradigm.

In a universe in which individual brains are actually indivisible portions of the greater hologram and everything is infinitely interconnected, telepathy may merely be the accessing of the holographic level. It is obviously much easier to understand how information can travel from the mind of individual ‘A’ to that of individual ‘B’ at a far distance point and helps to understand a number of unsolved puzzles in psychology. In particular, Stansilov Grof feels the holographic paradigm offers a model for understanding many of the baffling phenomena experienced by individuals during altered states of consciousness.

In the 1950s, while conducting research into the beliefs of LSD as a psychotherapeutic tool, Grof had one female patient who suddenly became convinced she had assumed the identity of a female of a species of prehistoric reptile. During the course of her hallucination, she not only gave a richlydetailed description of what it felt like to be encapsulated in such a form, but noted that the portion of the male of the species anatomy was a patch of colored scales on the side of its head. What was startling to Grof was that although the woman had no prior knowledge about such things, a conversation with a zoologist later confirmed that in certain species of reptiles colored areas on the head do indeed play an important role as triggers of sexual arousal.

The woman¹s experience was not unique. During the course of his research, Grof encountered examples of patients regressing and identifying with virtually every species on the evolutionary tree (research findings which helped influence the man-into-ape scene in the movie, Altered States).

Moreover, he found that such experiences frequently contained obscure zoological details which turned out to be accurate. Regressions into the animal kingdom were not the only puzzling psychological phenomena Grof encountered. He also had patients who appeared to tap into some sort of collective or racial unconscious. Individuals with little or no education suddenly gave detailed descriptions of Zoroastrian funerary practices and scenes from Hindu mythology. In other categories of experience, individuals gave persuasive accounts of out-of-body journeys, of precognitive glimpses of the future, of regressions into apparent past-life incarnations.

In later research, Grof found the same range of phenomena manifested in therapy sessions which did not involve the use of drugs. Because thecommon element in such experiences appeared to be the transcending of an individual¹s consciousness beyond the usual boundaries of ego and/or limitations of space and time, Grof called such manifestations transpersonal experiences, and in the late ’60s he helped found a branch of psychology called transpersonal psychology devoted entirely to their study. Although Grof¹s newly founded Association of Transpersonal Psychology garnered a rapidly growing group of like-minded professionals and has become a respected branch of psychology, for years neither Grof or any of his colleagues were able to offer a mechanism for explaining the bizarre psychological phenomena they were witnessing. But that has changed with the advent of the

holographic paradigm.

As Grof noted, if the mind is actually part of a continuum, a labyrinth that is connected not only to every other mind that exists or has existed, but to very atom, organism, and region in the vastness of space and time itself, the fact that it is able to occasionally make forays into the labyrinth and have transpersonal experiences no longer seems so strange.

Perhaps, in Creating Reality, we have already become – as in Star Trek, The Next Generation – a Q of the Continuum or we are part of a consciousness virtual reality experiment.

The holographic paradigm also has implications for so-called hard sciences like biology. Keith Floyd, a psychologist at Virginia Intermont College, has pointed out that if the concreteness of reality is but a holographic illusion, it would no longer be true to say the brain produces consciousness. Rather, t is Consciousness that creates the appearance of the brain as well as the body and everything else around us we interpret as physical.

Such a turnabout in the way we view biological structures has caused researchers to point out that medicine and our understanding of the healing process could also be transformed by the holographic paradigm. If the apparent physical structure of the body is but a holographic projection of consciousness, it becomes clear that each of us is much more responsible for our health than current medical wisdom allows. What we now view as miraculous remissions of disease may actually be due to changes in consciousness which in turn effect changes in the hologram of the body.

Similarly, controversial new healing techniques such as visualization may work so well because in the holographic domain of thought images areultimately as real as reality. Even visions and experiences involving non-ordinary reality become explainable under the holographic paradigm. In his book Gifts of Unknown Things, biologist Lyall Watson describes his encounter with an Indonesian shaman woman who, by performing a ritual dance, was able to make an entire grove of trees instantly vanish into thin air. Watson relates that as he and another astonished onlooker continued to watch the woman, she caused the trees to reappear, then click off again and on again several times in succession. Although current scientific understanding is incapable of explaining such events, experiences like this become more tenable if hard reality is only a holographic projection.

Perhaps we agree on what is ‘there’ or ‘not there’ because what we call consensus reality is formulated and ratified at the level of the human unconscious at which all minds are infinitely interconnected. If this is true, it is the most profound implication of the holographic paradigm of all, for it means that experiences such as Watson’s are not commonplace only because we have not programmed our minds with the beliefs that would make them so.

In a holographic universe there are no limits to the extent to which we can alter the fabric of reality.

What we perceive as reality is only a canvas waiting for us to draw upon it any picture we want. Anything is possible, from bending spoons with the power of the mind to events experienced by Carlos Castaneda during his encounters with the Yaqui brujo don Juan, for Magic is our birthright, no more or less miraculous than our ability to compute the reality we want when we are in our dreams.

Indeed, even our most fundamental notions about reality become suspect, for in a holographic universe, as Pribram has pointed out, even random events would have to be seen as based on holographic principles and therefore determined.

Synchronicities or meaningful coincidences suddenly makes sense, and everything in reality would have to be seen as a metaphor. Even the most haphazard events would express some underlying symmetry.

Whether Bohm and Pribram’s holographic paradigm becomes accepted in science or dies an ignoble death remains to be seen, but it is safe to say that it has already had an influence on the thinking of many scientists. And even if it is found that the holographic model does not provide the best explanation for the instantaneous communications that seem to be passing back and forth between subatomic particles, at the very least, as noted by Basil Hiley, a physicist at Birbeck College in London, Aspect’s findings indicate that we must be prepared to consider radically new views of reality.

There are a few more points that should be mentioned regarding this article. This is basically how things are. However, there isn’t a conclusion put forward in the article. Wisdom already knows what the conclusion is. Being that the individuals mentioned in the article are all highly intellectually indoctrinated, they have the hindrance of rationality limiting their ability to simply know this is how things are.

Where the speed of light ‘kicks in”, this is the initial point, or the starting point of the 3D illusion. This is the beginning of the intellectual thought process, in all its forms, such as science, religion, arts, business,… all things are mathematically arranged and initiate the thing we refer to as knowledge and the 3D illusion.

Healing Toxicity in Your Relationships

As I was working with a client a few days ago, I looked out my window to see dozens of butterflies on the tree outside. I was so distracted by the beautiful sight that it was difficult to concentrate on my client. I was captivated by the colors fluttering around. It was an exciting experience for me which filled my Inner Child with joy and wonder. My "wildness" was them!

I continue to watch them as often as I can, because I know they will too soon begin their migration further south.

Butterflies represent change, and I have definitely experienced a lot of changes recently! My most closest here on this page know them and the breakthroughs too from it all.

I knew then and realized that they have been good changes. Although I never intended to return to my own primal healing again so soon, it is nice to be back in familiar territory.

It is wonderful to be back with my Romani family and friends. It is very heartwarming to store our unity again in a soul print upon the Earth I serve and have everyone hugging and saying how much they have missed my presence the last 3 years!

Sometimes we have to accept that Spirit knows more than we do. I in my "wildness" and evolution to it never questions this.

We are all on the verge of bursting free of the chrysalis that has held us for much too long. Like the butterfly, we will flutter off into a New World and new experiences. I for one am ready!

Many aren't and will continue to create universal power in their own image through it all but YOU my lovelies are here reading this because you choose to warrior up too.

We have to clear out of us constantly what is not needed and here my loves is a biggy.........

Are You Shifting or Just Talking Shi(f)t

Healing toxic relationships you have created and ending the blame game.....

As we prepare to move into the 4th dimension of Unconditional Love, our Heart Chakras are being expanded. As this Chakra expands, relationship trauma is being brought to the surface to be healed. This is not fun at all, and we would prefer that the energy, emotions and trauma remain buried there, but it is necessary that we heal so we can continue to ascend.

Many of my clients have issues with their parents. They do not feel that they received the nurturing and love they needed as children. As adults, they are still reacting to their parents from that hurt child hidden deep within them. They feel they have healed until they have to spend time with their family, and the hurt child comes into the Light once again.

Before we are born, our Soul chooses the lessons that it wants to experience in this lifetime. We (our Soul) choose the parents who will help us to learn those lessons. For many who I work with, those lessons include feeling they have value and are wanted. Our Soul knows that these people we have chosen will treat us in ways that will give us an opportunity to learn to value ourselves.

Our life is a play where we are the author, director and star. We (our Soul) hire others to play parts in our play. Because these other Souls love us so deeply, they agree to take on some difficult roles in our play.

Because we want to learn to increase our self-esteem and how we value ourselves, we (our Soul) ask the Soul that is to be our Father to put us down and call us names.

Because this Soul loves us so much, he says ‘Ok, I will play that bastard in your life to help you learn this lesson.’ Unfortunately, we forget this when we are in human form feeling abused by our Father. Instead, we get caught in the Victim Archetype of the Root Chakra, suffering at the hands of our Father.

Though we (our Soul) chose this experience, we have a choice (free will) in how we respond to it. We can choose to play the victim and drown ourselves in our ‘story’, or we can become the Mother Archetype, loving and nurturing ourselves. We can spend our life acting from the traumatized child, or we can become the adult who loves and values ourselves.

Once we can learn to see our parents from this perspective, it is easier to forgive them and learn to love them without judgment. We can also learn to love ourselves without judgment and begin to live in the 4th dimension of the heart and Unconditional Love.

If you are caught in your story and unable to move past it, it is simply because you can't on your own. Denial has overridden your free will.

If you are strong and courage to conquer yourself then you arte truly a warrior then.

Was Lilith Adam's First Wife?

There is a lot of confusion in the world about Lilith. Many make the claim that she was originally in the Creation account as Ada...m’s first wife and was later removed. I am going to tell the actual history of Lilith to help clear up misconceptions. I am expecting this article to be short, because there really isn’t a whole lot that needs to be said on the topic.

Once upon a time, there were some Sumerians. These Sumerians believed that there was a she-demon by the name of Lilith who lived in the garden of a Sumerian goddess named Innana. As time passed, many cultures, like the Persians, began to use “lilith” as a more general word, pluralizing it and listing it next to words like “demons” and “devils”. So by that time, at least, it was not unheard of for the word to refer to the general idea of a type of demonic creature.

For this reason, it should come as no surprise that the word ended up working its way into the Bible, in Isaiah 34:14:
And wild animals shall meet with hyenas; the wild goat shall cry to his fellow; indeed, there the night bird settles and finds for herself a resting place.

The word here translated as “night bird” is Lilith. Some have speculated that it was used to describe a “nocturnal animal that inhabits desolate places”, which seems like a reasonable interpretation given the placement of the word in a passage discussing wildlife, with the next verse discussing owls. Still, the interpretation that this refers to demons has thrived over the ages, from the Dead Sea Scrolls to the medieval rabbi Rashi arguing that this verse does, in fact, refer to a demon.

However, other than that one Biblical reference, many mainstream Jewish sources were silent on the topic, until some rather weird commentary on the topic from the Talmud (compiled in the 3rd-6th centuries AD):

"Rab Judah citing Samuel ruled: If an abortion had the likeness of Lilith its mother is unclean by reason of the birth, for it is a child but it has wings." (Nidda 24b)
"R. Hanina said: One may not sleep in a house alone [in a lonely house], and whoever sleeps in a house alone is seized by Lilith.” (Shabbath 151b)

Now things are a bit more specific. Lilith at this point in the Hebrew worldview is a female demon with long hair and wings. But she is not, you’ll notice, said to be the wife of Adam.

No, the story of her as Adam’s first wife does not show up until a book called the Alphabet of Ben Sira, which was written between the 8th and 11th centuries AD. The story found in this text is a strange one:

“When God created His world and created Adam, He saw that Adam was alone, and He immediately created a woman from earth, like him, for him, and named her Lilith. He brought her to Adam, and they immediately began to fight: Adam said, “You shall lie below” and Lilith said, “You shall lie below for we are equal and both of us were [created] from earth.” They did not listen to each other. When Lilith saw the state of things, she uttered the Holy Name and flew into the air and fled. Adam immediately stood in prayer before God and said: “Master of the universe, see that the woman you gave me has already fled away.” God immediately sent three angels and told them: “Go and fetch Lilith if she agrees to come, bring her, and if she does not, bring her by force.” The three angels went immediately and caught up with her in the [Red] Sea, in the place that the Egyptians were destined to die. They seized her and told her: ‘If you agree to come with us, come, and if not, we shall drown you in the sea.’ She answered: ‘Darlings, I know myself that God created me only to afflict babies with fatal disease when they are eight days old I shall have permission to harm them from their birth to the eighth day and no longer when it is a male baby but when it is a female baby, I shall have permission for twelve days.’ The angels would not leave her alone, until she swore by God’s name that wherever she would see them or their names in an amulet, she would not possess the baby [bearing it]. They then left her immediately. This is [the story of] Lilith who afflicts babies with disease.”

In a nutshell, the story says that Lilith was Adam’s first wife, created at the same time from the dust of the Earth. She wanted to be on top during sex, and Adam wasn’t down with that, presumably because he disagreed with her reasoning that they were equals. She magically flew away and, in the events that followed, took her role as a demon.

Due to the feminist nature of her demand, she has often been used as an icon for such movements, and the story found in the Alphabet of Ben Sira has been elevated by those who did not know any better as evidence that the Biblical Creation account is sexist. Those who make the case that she was an original part of the story point to the apparent differences between the Creation in Genesis 1 and that in Genesis 2-3, with the former saying that God created man and woman (Presumably at the same time, although its a bit vague) in God’s image and the latter having Eve made from Adam’s side. They conclude, a bit hastily, that there must have been two different women, and that the first one must have been Lilith.

Not only does this ignore the possibility of the JEDP theory, in which case these stories would have been written by different authors, it also bypasses an easy solution - that they do not contradict.

If I said I went to the store and bought bananas and bread, and then later I said that I went to the store and bought bananas, then I thought bread would go well with them so I got some bread, that would not be two contradicting stories, it would be the same story with different degrees of specificity.

The fact of the matter is, there is no evidence that the story of Lilith as Adam’s first wife existed prior to the Alphabet of Ben Sira, and the Alphabet of Ben Sira dates more closely to now than it does to the authoring of Genesis. All earlier references to Lilith simply describe it as a general demonic class or a specific demon, but never as anything but that, and never with an origin story that features her as a human in any context.

There is no reason for Lilith to have any impact in how we read and interpret the Creation account.

Sex magick means using your sexuality in order to work magick. This technique is not new nor outrageous; although usually kept secret many esoteric systems use sexuality for spiritual and magical aims. Examples of such traditions are witchcraft, shamanism, alchemy, Buddhist and Hinduist tantra and ancient Egyptian religion. A probably more known form of sex magick is the ceremonial sexual union of man and woman on the land to ensure a good crop. Their fertility act should encourage the land to deliver a rich harvest. Western sex magick has its roots in Hebrew kabbalah and is spread further through several occult doctrines like the knights Templar and the free masons. Nowadays sex magick is a beautiful way of giving sex back its rightful place of sacred sexuality. It is a firm invitation to leave the trail of the sneaky, hidden-in-the-dark and ‘sinful’ sex most of us have grown up with. It is a call to stop fighting this most powerful human force and to make use of its possibilities. Since sexuality is a gift from God/the Goddess it has to be divine. Within an open and respectful sexual relationship we can experience ourselves in all our aspects: the animal part, the human part and the divine flame within. Thus the beast-man-God is connected, as well as the beast-woman-Goddess. During sexual arousal an enormous amount of energy can be channeled upwards from the genitals along the spine to the top of the head. On its way up this energy fills and cleans blockages in the Chakras, caused by emotional and psychological wounds. This explains why several spiritual paths view sexual yoga as a shortcut to enlightenment.

Why use sex for magical aims?
Simply because the creative force itself creates very powerful magick. Secondly because it is the most pleasurable magick one can do. The strong sexual force is the ‘raw oil of our body’ as Lama Yeshe stated. Several practitioners of sex magick reported that this form of magick turned out to be much stronger then the ceremonial magick they had practiced before. Sex magick does not require previous knowledge of ceremonial magick. Anyone who is dedicated to controlling and directing his or her sexual energies for magickal work, and who has a reasonable physical condition, is able to perform sex magick. However, if you don’t feel attracted to sex magick simply don’t do it! And never let someone force you into sex magick against your will.
Practicing sex magick neither implies that you have to give up sex for pleasure. It is up to you to decide how much sex you wish to use for magical rituals and how much for purely having a good time with yourself or your partner.

What is the theory behind sex magick?
In magick we manipulate a certain amount of energy into a desired direction; for that we specify a goal, raise energy and point it into the wished direction (release the energy) to achieve a manifestation in our physical reality. In sex magick we basically focus on a goal by affirmation, visualization etc.; we raise much energy through prolonged sexual arousal and we release the energy at the moment of orgasm. The goal in sex magick can be the achievement or attraction of anything wished in the physical world, like a new house, a better relationship or a healing. It can also be the charging of magickal tools or talismans. And the goal can be spiritual development.
This controlled form of love-making for higher purposes is often mentioned as the ultimate explanation of Crowley’s famous statement “Love is the Law, Love under Will.” By love Crowley meant the uniting of the opposites masculine and feminine, active and receptive, and not so much romantic love. Orgasm is considered to be the moment when ‘the gates of heaven open up’; for a while the barriers between the restricted physical world and the limitless heavens dissolve. During the precious orgasmic moments we swing away our magical desire into the universe with enormous power and a ‘magickal child’ is born. This magickal child is the astral effect of our magical action that will result in manifestation. The sexual fluids of man and woman are charged with powerful qualities because of their magick and they can be used for several purposes.

What types of sex can be used for sex magick?
In fact any sexual activity can be used to work sex magick. It can be practiced alone, it can be practiced with a partner of the same sex or of the opposite sex, and in advanced sex magick it is also possible to work with more people. But: a group sex magick ritual is never an excuse for a sexual orgy! It is a strong ritual in which several people dedicate their sexual forces towards a mutual goal. Magick is synergistic, what means that the power conjured up is geometric (1,2,4,8,16, etc., so a ritual with four people gives the energy of eight separate people!) Does sex magick feel different from regular sex?
In sex magick we concentrate on the ritual, while in regular sex we concentrate on the fantastic physical sensations and intimate togetherness. Sex magick rituals feel very pleasurable but they do feel different. They are simply intenser. A much greater amount of sexual energy is built up due to mainly two reasons:

• When you reach the brink of orgasm you back off to later on resume arousing. This leads to a stronger felt orgasm.
• While repeating the chosen affirmation during intercourse you send up energy from the genitals to the head, so you constantly send bits of genital excitement ‘away’ upwards along your spine to be stored till the moment of orgasm. By concentrating on your goal you extend the moment of orgasm and reach some sort of trance.

Sometimes I notice that halfway the ritual I can already feel the magical energy working. I feel a large amount of hot energy along my spine and the Chakras in my head, while the crown Chakra feels like a wide opened chalice or lotus flower. The energy can cause big shiverings or emotional unloads like crying, mostly after orgasm (be prepared for this and let it happen to yourself or your partner, it clears blockages). Sex magick orgasms will be intense. And after a ritual with a partner I feel reverent and grateful, realizing that we have shared something truly meaningful. Once you know the depths and values of sex magick I wonder if a partner who would prefer to stick to ‘normal’ sex could any longer satisfy your needs.

What about safe sex?
I have never heard of anyone who liked condoms, but they do have their effect on preventing sexual transferable diseases. So in case you do magick with a partner you’re not sure of his/her physical sexual health, or in case you have several partners or alternating partners – do yourself a favor and use a rubber (with favor). Please also be very careful with oral sex in case you or your partner have a bleeding wound or an ulcer in the mouth or on the genital area, or in case of an unusual looking or smelling sexual fluid. If this is a spiritual evolutionary process as it is to many of us as TRUE GYPSY (Romani's) let me draw fact that we are over 1.3 million strong in the USA alone and many don't even know us by choice. Gypsy is not the term as it is used in by new agers. It doesn't mean you get in a car and go on a road trip. It is a very tightly knitted ethnic lifestyle and we even have our own language we use to identify ourselves with other Rom's. So just in case your ego wants to feel Gypsy you really aren't.

Whether you need to lay low or simply want to be left alone, you might be considering a complete disappearance. Technology makes completely vanishing a virtual impossibility, but with enough diligence and care, it's possible to vanish. To disappear completely, you will have to think it through, erase any tracks, and create a new identity for yourself.

Part 1 of 3: Thinking It Through

Understand the legal ramifications. Be aware that, depending on the circumstances of your disappearance, you could be held legally accountable in a variety of ways if you're ever found. There are many good reasons and good ways to disappear, but there are more bad reasons and bad ways to do so.

•For instance, if a large search party is sent to look for you, you might have to pay back the agency that incurred the costs of the search. Therefore, do not pack your suitcase and start walking.

•If you're disappearing to escape debts or substantiate an insurance claim, you could be charged with fraud and imprisoned. Know that staging your own death or disappearance is a serious and potentially illegal act before you proceed.

•If you want to disappear to escape a gang or if you're being blackmailed or stalked, contact law enforcement immediately. There are legal ways to change your identity and stay safe in these situations.

•If you are the victim of domestic abuse, the number of the National Domestic Violence Hotline is 1-800-799-7233. It is confidential and safe. If you have a child with you, call 1-800-4ACHILD for immediate assistance for the both of you.

Know that you must go alone. Your odds of being discovered increase dramatically if you intend to disappear with another person, especially a child.

•Further, disappearing with a child could get you charged with kidnapping or child endangerment if you're discovered. Even if you have good intentions, you're on a paved road to hell.

•If you have any reason for disappearance that incriminates another person, take legal action before vanishing to protect yourself from allegations that could be made in the future.

Understand what you're running from. After all, you're not staging a vanishing act for no reason. When they say "keep your friends close, but keep your enemies closer," this is a situation they were referring to. Know what you're up against to decrease your chance of being found.

•If you're running from a spouse or family member, think about their resources. How far would they go to find you? How much money do they have to spend?

•If you're running from the police, the IRS, or immigration officers, you have your work cut out for you. These are men and women who have decades of experience and have no personal investment in your struggle. Familiarize yourself with their tactics to prolong your escape.

Part 2 of 3: Covering Your Tracks

Get rid of certain possessions. You want to make sure whoever might follow up on you has absolutely zero leads. It's best to tie up loose ends and not fake your own kidnapping. Make sure it's clear that you vanished under voluntary circumstances. •Destroy as many pictures of you as possible. This keeps family and friends from going around town asking others if they've seen you.

•Abandon your car. Leave the pink slip in the glove box, the door unlocked, the window down, and park it in a bad area. A thief's lucky day.

•Don't be tempted to take mementos with you. This will connect you to your old life, making you want to go back home, and be a resource for your opposition later on. Your favorite hat, water bottle, and cowboy boots will have to go.

Disconnect yourself. In today's world, this step is one of the most imperative. Slowly decrease your activity until none is the norm. When you delete your Facebook and Twitter profiles, no one will be any wiser. Investigators will be hard-pressed to find traces of you and online friends can't be tapped for information. •This step takes preparation. You cannot pack your bags and walk out the door tomorrow; if you do, you will fail at disappearing. Start disposing of your old personality one bit at a time.

•Leave early in the morning, when your parents are in bed, or after school, but only if they work late or do night shifts. If leaving at night, be cautious. Stay calm; don't panic.

•Tell your friends and family that you're taking a break from the bombardment of stimuli forced upon you by the internet. If you cannot do this, you're not ready to disappear.

Get rid of the plastic. From now on, you'll be using cash. Credit cards are the easiest way to track a person; cut them up into tiny, unrecognisable pieces and throw them away, or burn them and dispose of the ash. You may want to dispose of the trash yourself if you're concerned someone will go through it. •Do not think of keeping them for an emergency. Get rid of them to avoid the temptation. Your old identity is not a crutch to be used when you're tired and hungry.

•Ditch anything plastic tied to your name. Is it a video rental card? Gone. American Eagle membership? Adios! Delta Airlines SkyMiles Premiere Flyer? Au revoir, mon petit chou. You cannot use a coupon code, a PIN, or anything that could be tied to your former name. Cash, cash, cash.

•Consider riding a bike, traveling by train or bus, and walking, as these modes of transport don't require you to possess a driver's license. But if you do choose to travel by public transport, be aware that others are able to see you, security footage may be taken, and you could get yourself caught if you aren't careful. And don't hitchhike or take taxis/minicabs, as the drivers could foil your plans and report you to the police.

•Flying anywhere is probably out of the question. There's no way to buy a plane ticket at most airlines without putting forth a lot of personal information, including a credit/debit card. Doing so under your real identity is certainly impossible. You will be tracked whether it's interstate or international (where you will also have to pass through customs). Of all consumer businesses Airlines have the closest visible connection to NSA, FBI, and other security organizations. You could try to use a fake identity and passport, but the scrutiny is increasingly intensive and deceptive. You may not be flat out denied boarding your flight but you might be in for a surprise at your destination where someone is waiting to arrest you.

Lie. There's no right way around it--you're going to have to lie to those around you. It's an unfortunate truth, but hopefully worth it in the end. •Create false leads to companies. Change your address, "correct" the spelling of your name, book a flight to Chile with no intention of ever getting on. Create a back-story that will confuse anyone who starts to sniff out your trail. Stick to one fake identity; having several will be confusing, and people may get suspicious.

•You're going to have to lie to friends and family. As you start coming around less and less, it's inevitable that you'll have to field their questions. If you are unwilling to cut ties completely with them, establish ways in advance of staying in contact. Superfluous email accounts used on public computers, prepaid phones--there are ways to do this if you think it through. They may not be able to find you, but you can find them.

•Tell no one, if possible and necessary. Even your closest friend in the entire world cannot know. Circumstances may change and they'll feel new obligations to inform those concerned about your whereabouts.

•Create a ruse. Make a long-term plan. You have cash for now and a plan for the next 4 weeks, but what about after that? How will you maintain this identity as you sip from a coconut you had chopped down personally while sunbathing on the coast of Belize?

•A good disappearing act takes work. If you've the means, start a "corporation" that pays for all your bills. It should only be loosely tied to you by "name" and handles all your expenses.

•Spend the months before you vanish slowly withdrawing cash and setting up a way to maintain the flow. You do not want to end up doing anything quickly and haphazardly, causing eyebrows to raise.

•It's best not to pay for (or steal) a false social security number or a passport. You could be sporting the identity of a convict or a deceased person and/or the passport could be bogus (as you're in line at the airport, being looked at heavily by a customs officer). Keep the looming jail time to a minimum.

Part 3 of 3: Your New Identity

Gather your resources. Before you disappear, make sure you'll have what you need to survive. Slowly move your assets to cash and store your money in a secure location until you're ready to leave. Purchase any supplies, before or after your disappearance, with cash.

•If you're going rogue, potentially necessary items include a large backpack, warm clothes, waterproofs, sturdy shoes, a tent, a lightweight sleeping bag, maps, a compass, and a pocket knife.

•If you're taking a more luxurious way out, gather your cash, necessary papers, and a few basic items of clothing. Don't take valuable or sentimental items with you; expensive things may be stolen or used to track you down, and if someone notices a favored memento of yours missing along with you, they'll catch onto your plan.

Leave town. Now that you're all set, where will you go? Take time to decide. The world is your oyster. The only thing stopping you is customs. •If you're considering going international, research any visas or government regulations you'll need to adhere to. Many cheaper countries make it easy to live for long periods of time, but if you want to do it legally, you'll need residency cards and a current identity to show them.

•If you're staying in your country, weigh your chances of being found. Make sure you know no one within 100 miles (160 km) of the area and, of course, never frequent a vacation spot you used to visit.

•Commit. Not taking time to plan out your disappearance, buying false papers on the deep web or from one-eyed Fred, and hitching a ride to Tijuana is a recipe for a disaster and an even bigger headache than the one you're running away from. Commit yourself to this idea and allow time to plan it successfully.

•This vanishing act will take its toll on you physically, mentally, spiritually, and emotionally. Take some time to weigh up the pros and cons of disappearing, and determine whether or not you're up for the challenge.

Disappear Completely

Cultivate new habits. If you don't develop a completely new persona, you'll fall into the same patterns that made you want to flee in the first place. •People can often be recognized by their movements, so if you usually dawdle, walk quickly, or vice versa.

•Buy clothes you normally wouldn't wear. If you're a t-shirt and jeans kind of guy, become Mr. Businessman. If you're that girl who's into hipster glasses and combat boots, opt for the polo. A new sense of fashion will make it easier to think of yourself as a different person.

•Cut and dye your hair a natural colour that won't attract attention.

•Eat different foods. If you're addicted to the Baconator, it's gonna have to be cold turkey. Ditch your old eating habits and hit the grocery store with your wad o' cash. Avoiding restaurants (especially ones you used to visit regularly) and familiar patterns makes it harder to trace you and easier to forget yourself.

•Make it impossible to trace you. Even after you're gone, you won't know who could be looking for you. It'll take constant diligence, but the peace of mind is priceless.

•Wear a hat indoors. Most public places have security cameras and if they're on your scent, they'll monitor these.

•Clean up after yourself. Leaving hotel rooms trashed with evidence of fingerprints and bodily fluids is asking for a police report. Wherever you go, make it so you were barely ever there.

•Stay away from snail mail. If it's known you're in a particular area, this can quickly narrow down your opposition's search. Only use snail mail to disorganize and confuse the ones you're running from.

Tips

•Delete this page from your browser history, or research modes of disappearance on a public computer, such as one at a library.

•Check your supplies regularly. Make sure that you always have enough food, water, etc with you.

•Be absolutely precise in your planning. Leave no room for error.

•Don't try to fake your own death. It's difficult and potentially dangerous to pull off.

•If you do choose to return from your disappearance, understand that it's a bumpy process. Your family and friends may be deeply wounded by your deception, and you might never earn their forgiveness. Don't expect to take up your old life again as if nothing ever happened.

•Disappearing will potentially devastate your friends and family members. Assess how guilt over this would affect you before leaving.

•Guard your safety first. Never place yourself in the way of physical harm in order to maintain your disappearance.

•Pulling a disappearing act such as this is something that only clever, educated people can successfully pull off. You will be in situations where it will be absolutely necessary to hide your intelligence. If you are temporarily working as a manual laborer, you should talk and carry yourself like the other working-class joes. You're going to be looked at very strangely and suspiciously if you're working at a warehouse in a rural mid-west backwater county and talk like an Ivy League Rhodes Scholar or a Silicon Valley techie.
